Identifies and addresses issues related to the financial health and operations of the Cityīachelor's Degree in public administration or field directly related to assignment and eight years of progressively responsible related experience that includes significant management and supervisory experienceĪn equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.Addresses emergent issues at the direction of City leadership.Assists executive leadership with strategies to accomplish the goals and mission of the department.Manages department and non-department budget accounts.Provides information to the Budget Director, City Manager’s Office, and City Council.Assists with developing strategies to accomplish the goals and mission of the department and City, identifies, and implements processes.Directs the work of department staff in completing assigned projects.Identifies and implements process improvements.Assists with the development of annual work plans which includes establishing and executing budget management projects and an annual list of management projects.Assists managing the annual operating budget and plans by certifying procedural steps are completed by assigned deadlines.
